Hello delegates! 

My name is Jana Tabbalat, and i am honored to welcome each and every one of you to Asriyyamun’24 more specifically to our committee UN women! Its my privilege to preside over a committee filled with what im sure are a diverse and educated group of people who are committed to empowering women and advancing gender equality. 

 

This committee tackles such important topics that directly impact the lives of women and girls on a daily basis. 

Throughout this conference we will together engage in heated and meaningful discussions and debates, as we are the voices that amplify the concerns of so many women around the world. 

 

Delegates, i wish that throughout this conference you approach our debates with open minds, determination and confidence. I strongly encourage every one of you to try your best, to learn from your mistakes, to be confident in your abilities and most importantly leave this conference as a better version of yourself.

 

Im looking forward to witness your passion, dedication and innovative ideas. Together we can make a difference and contribute to a future where gender equality isn’t just a dream, but a reality!
